You may have noted that in addition to our new site, we introduced a new logo and character icon. Who is this guy anyway? Right now we call him Hacker Guy. He's everyman (or woman) that loves the game of golf, but doesn't play it very well.

As we start marketing our Hacker's Guides, Hacker Guy will appear more and more. He's going to get into trouble out on the course and he's going to show us why he's a bad golfer. Yet, we've already fallen in love with him. His oversized chin, his questionable taste in pants, his carefree attitude. Maybe someday we'll give him a better name, but for the moment, say hello to Hacker Guy.

Okay, not really on the air, but definitely on the Internet. After a lot of behind the scenes work the last eight months, we've launched the first part of our vision. This website is designed to recruit our golf course ratings system to writers in the Twin Cities. We want to assemble a team to visit every public golf course in the area and as soon as the reviews are ready, make them available online later this summer.

We've already brought out four of our writers and tested our rating process at one course. On the weekend of June 14th and 15th, we are going to visit two more courses with eight new writers. If you are interested in joining us, fill out the sign up form and you can become a member of Team Hacker.
